Amy Rowley is the second student governor for Wrexham Glyndŵr University and is very excited to start in her new role.
Amy is in her final year of study on the BA Hons Primary Education with QTS (SMU) Programme and looks forward to graduating to continue a career in Education.
For the past year, Amy has been the Student Council Chair, and is honoured to be continuing as Chair for the next academic year. This serves as a perfect link with her Governor role as Amy already has an understanding of student representation, and hears first-hand what the student body wants; therefore is able to feed this directly into discussions with other governors.
In her spare time, Amy is a member of the University Netball Team and has recently been appointed Team Captain 2021-22. She not only enjoys playing the sport, but also being embedded within the student community and representing Glyndŵr University out on the court.
