When living off campus, it's important to choose properties which are safe, secure and well managed.
To help you do this, Wrexham Glyndŵr University’s Residential and Campus Life team maintain an online web register called Student Pad, where you can search for suitable properties to rent in and around the Wrexham area.
To improve our service to students, only landlords who have been accredited with the Landlord Accreditation Wales Scheme certificate will be listed through Student Pad. This LAW scheme is supported by every council in Wales and promotes professional landlords and agents who rent out good quality accommodation whilst understanding the requirements of students and their own obligations as a landlord.
The Residential and Campus Life team is always available to offer advice and guidance to students who decide to live in private accommodation, but it is important to remember that when students rent a property, the tenancy contract is between the student and the landlord. Therefore, students should seek to resolve issues directly with their landlord or the council.
