Our Summer Schools are a great way to continue studying a subject you enjoy, to gain new subject knowledge and as preparation for further study.
The Summer Schools take place in July and August and we offer a range of subjects allowing you to experience a mixture of academic lectures and engaging study opportunities.

Courses
You may choose to study one of our Summer Schools purely for the interest value. However, all of our courses offer university credits and some offer top-up pathways leading to full undergraduate qualifications. All courses consist of 3 shared modules + 1 programme specific.

All of our courses include technical tuition and English language tuition.
Course dates: 31st July – 21st August 2023
Where: Wrexham, Plas Coch campus
Price:
- £1,500 with accommodation
- £1,000 without accommodation

Price includes: course fees, accommodation (optional), and two weekend activities, use of campus facilities, Wi-Fi
Price do not include: transportation to/from airport, food, extracurricular activities

The demand for these programmes is normally high, but in the event a programme has insufficient students registered, it will not be offered. In such an event, any registered students will be offered an alternative programme or given a full refund of any fees paid.
Entry requirements
Our Summer School is open to anyone aged 18 or over who is interested in learning more about Engineering or Computing. You could be a high school student looking to go on to study a related course at university, or a working / retired adult who is interested in learning more about your chosen subject. Whatever your interest join our Summer School to find out more.
Engineering Summer Schools are designed for students who have at least 1 year of study at Higher Education level in an Engineering related subject.
If you are an international student you will also need to demonstrate B2 level (or equivalent) in English Language to join the course.
