Amy is the proprietor of Clwydian stud outside Wrexham where much of the practical units of the degree are based.

Amy runs Clwydian Stud which breeds a number of sports horses and produces thoroughbreds and competition horses/ponies for a range of disciplines.

Amy is a BHSI (stage 5 performance coach) and coaches on a freelance basis along with holding clinics for local riding clubs and pony clubs.

Amy delivers the Stable Management units of the equine degree which are a mixture of classroom based theory and yard based practical content. Students will also attend the stud for elements of the breeding, health and fitness and behaviour modules.

As a BHS assessor Amy also delivers the BHS training sessions for all equine students, helping them to work towards BHS exams alongside their degree.
