Angela Winstanley

Angela Winstanley holds a BSc Hons Degree in Biology (Liverpool University) and an MSc in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling (Southampton University). She is Programme Leader for the BSc Hons and FdSc Animal Studies courses and lectures in both Animal Studies and Equine Science.

In addition, Angela is an Animal Behaviour Counsellor, seeing a variety of different species via behavioural veterinary referral. Angela has worked in a consultancy capacity providing advice to businesses and charities on animal welfare, management, and rehabilitation.

Her particular interests are animal welfare, human animal interactions, and the application of learning theory to humanely train animals and modify behavior.
