Chloe Farrington

Biography
Chloe started studying in 2011 and completed her nursing degree at Wrexham Glyndwr University in 2014. On completion of the programme, she secured her first job working for the NHS in the Emergency Department at the Wrexham Maelor hospital. Chloe has worked there for the past 10 years, three as a healthcare assistant and 7 as a trained staff nurse. During her time in the Emergency Department, she worked in all areas including triage, minors, majors, and the resuscitation room, looking after children, adults, and mental health patients gaining a vast amount of acute clinical skills and experience in trauma care. Her career has also included supporting students and new members of staff in the clinical environment. Chloe is keen to develop the clinical skills of student nurses and help them become the best nurses they can be. Chloe is currently studying towards her Post Graduate Certificate – learning and teaching in higher education qualification. She has recently started her new role as Lecturer in Nursing and is looking forward to sharing her enthusiasm about nursing and healthcare to the Nurses of the future.
