Biography

Darren studied at Chester College of H.E. before joining North Wales Police as a constable in 1988. He worked for North Wales Police for 30 years in a variety of roles as a Constable and Sergeant. These included response, community policing, control room supervisor, staff officer, custody officer and training. During this time, he gained an M.A. in Police Studies at Exeter University.

Darren has substantial operational experience as a uniformed officer with the majority of his service involved in community policing.

Darren is a Special Inspector with North Wales Police; this keeps his skills current and assists those students who become Special Constables to develop their skills in the policing environment.
