I qualified as an Adult Nurse in 1998 after which I spent two years on a general surgical unit specialising in bowel care. My passion for primary care led me to joining the community nursing team in 2000. On completion of my BSc (Hons) in Applied Community and Health Studies in 2003, I became a District Nurse. In 2005, I became Team Manager within District Nursing, working within various teams within North Wales. In 2014, I was honoured to receive the Queen Nursing title for my dedication to community practice. I joined Glyndŵr in April 2017 as a Practice Education Facilitator.
