Gill Truscott

Senior Lecturer in Nursing

Picture of staff member

Gill has been a nurse for over 30 years, predominantly working within surgical specialities and operating theatres. She has worked all over the UK and spent several short spells overseas. These include Boston, USA, and also Bangladesh, where she was part of the team who established the first cochlear implant programme in the country.

Gill moved into higher education in 2007 and her teaching experience traverses both health and nursing programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

In her spare time she likes nothing more than being out and about in all weathers, enjoying some fresh air in the countryside!
