Biography
Trained and worked as a secondary school teacher. Taught Religion, Philosophy, History and English to students aged between thirteen and eighteen years old.
- Higher Diploma in Person Centred Experiential Counselling
Employed as a sessional lecturer in the language department at Glyndwr University for the last eight years. Also, worked as an ESOL lecturer in a higher education college for the last three years.
Decided on a change of career and qualified as a Person Centred Therapist at Glyndwr University. Then in September 2021, gained a permanent position of lecturing post in counselling within the counselling department at Glyndwr.
Lives in Chester. Has lived in various countries and so has a love for traveling and experiencing new cultures. Enjoys Art, History, Philosophy, Film, Theatre and Gardening.
Continues to explore her own Academic interests in a potential Masters in the future in the area of childhood trauma and brain injury.
