Biography

Kathryn graduated from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, with a First Class Honours degree in History. She returned to Aberystwyth to complete her PhD on ‘The Practice and Procedure of the House of Commons, 1660-1714’. She has published on parliamentary history, First World War memorials and aspects of  social and cultural life relating to North East Wales

Courses

BA (Hons) Social & Cultural History with modules ranging from ‘Crime and Popular Culture in Victorian England and Wales’ to ‘Revolution in Seventeenth Century’ and ‘The Georgian Age’.

Publications

Kathryn is currently joint editor of the Transactions of the Denbighshire Historical Society.

She co-authored the book with Peter Bolton, A Mansion for Miners’, Plas Mwynwyr, Rhosllannerchrugog (Rownavale, 2016).
