Lecturer in Operating Department Practice
I studied at Wrexham (or NEWI as it was back then!) for my Bachelor of Nursing degree, qualifying in 2006. I went on to employment with Betsi Cadwaldwr University Health Board as a staff nurse in the operating theatres, progressing to Deputy Team Leader in anaesthetics & recovery. I am still employed by the health trust, undertaking bank shifts in the operating theatre so that I can maintain my skills and keep my teaching up to date and relevant for my ODP students.
