Rhiannon Griffiths-Williams

Biography
I completed my initial nurse training with Bangor University in 2000 and went on to study at Wrexham Glyndŵr University for my BSc Health Science (Hons.), Grad. Diploma (Specialist Practice; Practice Nursing) and MSc Health Science.
My clinical background consists of 9 years working in coronary care and medical high dependency, followed by a further 10 years as a Practice Nurse. I undertook my V3OO non-medical prescribing qualification which I was able to use as a Practice Nurse in the form of minor illness clinics, chronic disease management, travel health and contraception.
My most recent role was as a Health Liaison Nurse for an adult learning disability service, where I worked alongside GP practices to increase access to health checks. My MSc dissertation looked at equality within healthcare for adults with learning disabilities.
Outside of work, I am kept well occupied by looking after my three children.
