Robert is Principle Lecturer at the North Wales Business School. Robert is currently the Programme Lead of the MBA and undergraduate Accounting and Finance at Wrexham University, and a Teaching Associate at the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge. Before joining Wrexham, Robert studied at the University of Durham where he completed a Ph.D. in Finance and MSc in Finance and Investment. Before studying Finance, Robert completed his BSc in Theoretical Physics at the University of Swansea.

Robert's research interests are in household finance, real estate finance, corporate finance. He is currently working with the Welsh Government as part of a research team reviewing Youth Work funding across Wales.

Robert has been featured on ITV, BBC news, and on a variety of radio shows talking about household finance, cost of living crisis, and economic matters. Robert is currently the Managing Director of Greenway Real Estate LTD, a Buy-To-Let company which he created in 2019. Robert also is completing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification and works with investment professionals in a number of different industries. Robert enjoys visiting historic buildings and playing badminton!
