Sue Meeke-Smith

Biography
I have taught in a variety of Shropshire and Gwynedd primary schools for 14 years, spending time in all key stages and phases, especially Reception. I am a passionate advocate for promoting the joy of teaching and learning with small people. During my Masters studies I focused on educational inequality pertaining to economic differences, with a specific emphasis on exploring the word gap which exists for some children as they begin school.
I live in Wales with my husband, three primary-aged children and a cat – it’s generally quite a noisy house! I’m an avid crochet fiend and enjoy playing the piano and being outside in green spaces.
