Ewa is a BSc Rehabilitation & Injury Management student at Wrexham Glyndŵr University.

What were you doing before coming to Wrexham Glyndŵr University?

Before I came to university, I was working in a health spa where I was practising and improving my skills and constantly expanding my knowledge. After four years of working there, I decided it was time for me to step forward, and that’s why I decided to apply for the Rehabilitation and Injury Management degree at Wrexham Glyndŵr University.

What do you enjoy most about your course?

I love the clinic, I’m a hands-on person and I love to see gained knowledge being put into practice. I love the interaction with my clients and seeing how the therapists can improve their health and wellbeing.

What has the support been like?

The support from the lecturers and the other staff has been great. They’re always there for us and they’re very flexible regarding an appointment or help. There’s plenty of support from the University as well, academic skills, disability team are great, so yeah, I really enjoy it.

What do you hope to do when you graduate?

I’m hoping to get a job where I can gain more knowledge and expand and improve my skills in helping my patients. Also, I would like to continue my career and apply for a masters in Physiotherapy.
